It all started with a dream.

The quaint cottage transformed into a beloved destination over time.

In 2014, Slittorp 300 was acquired by Yvonne Hult and Johnny Hagberg. The house underwent a subtle transformation and was offered for rent. Simultaneously, the Garage was opened up, and a flea market was launched. With a modest offering of coffee and pastries, the venture quickly gained momentum. As time passed, the café evolved in tune with contemporary trends and the desires of its guests, eventually becoming both a café and a restaurant.

Since the beginning of 2020, Johnny Hagberg has taken the reins of Café Torpet’s Restaurant independently, alongside a dedicated team of enthusiasts. The aim of Torpet is to provide delicious cuisine within a genuine, rural, and ultimately relaxing setting for guests visiting or staying overnight.
