In The Forge, you reside amidst a nature-rich environment steeped in Swedish rural history. Adjacent to the house lies the local heritage farm, the well-preserved sawmill, and the dam that once powered the sawmill. Behind the house flows the river, once used to transport timber downstream to Gothenburg.

Here, the Pilgrimsleden Göta Älv also passes by, one of the area’s most beloved hiking trails. Just a few miles north, you’ll find the Risveden Nature Reserve. Take a wildlife safari by car through Livered and marvel at the thousands of deer, wild boars, and other magnificent species that inhabit the lands around Koberg Castle.

Description
In The Forge, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a loft area with one double bed and two single beds. Additionally, there is a living room with cable TV, two toilets (one with a shower), and a fully equipped kitchen. The Forge features two outdoor patios, one at the front and one at the back, offering views of the dam and the surrounding forest. Outdoor furniture, cushions, and a grill (please bring your own charcoal) are available for your use.

Additional Room
In the same building, there is an extra bedroom with a separate entrance, a double bed, toilet and shower. This room is called “The hearth” and is available as an optional extra for 500 SEK per night.

Terms
The accommodation is to be left in the same condition as found. Free parking and WiFi are provided. Pets are welcome.

Prices
1050 SEK per night. Bed linens and towels are available for an additional 150 SEK per person, and breakfast is offered in our restaurant for 90 SEK per person (advance booking required). The cottage is located approximately 9 km from our restaurant.
